It would be so much more useful if the window expanded to FULL SCREEN. Please activate the GREEN button. It’s useless as it is in such a small window. HATE that! : )

to alter pitch select the track you want to alter, then click the ‘i’ this will open a dialogue box for altering pitch, bit resolution and EQ even envelope decay.. so now you can… you need to read the manual before you slate it.. as this has to be one of the BEST apps for the mac.. i say this as i have used soooo many drum machines over the last 30 years and this is the best computer based one ever..for the price.

I guess you haven’t learned how to use that either?

oh, so you found the release button? That’s good! How about pitch? You find that yet? Attack is in the same window as all of those okay? Why not tell iZotope your ideas for user improvement? True, it takes some getting used to, but it is a far cry from what you said it was and what was lacking.

The song editor isn’t very appealing either.

I shouldn’t have to open a crappy little inspector window every time I want to change something. They spent time making the main interface nice, but left out all the other controls needed on the main interface. And btw I don’t see a control for attack, just decay. Filter is ok, but EQ would be better.
Comment by wonekawa on January 17, 2010 at 4:34 am
that’s not true. There is pitch, attack, release and filter control , part change for every instrument plus midi assign. Maybe you just haven’t learned how to use it…
and it’s stable slaving to any sequencer host! Grant it Superior Drummer is far better, but it doesn’t suck or is not lame as you say it is!

This app sucks. I bought it and I regret it!! No control over pitch, eq, attack or release. No use for real production! LAME!!!

as long as your good at velocity layering and have good samples, it should be fine.

I thought this one only for mac. I never heard of the windows version.
Comment by abatage0 on January 17, 2010 at 10:18 am
hmm… this just hasn’t sold it to me. Just getting my first mac for home recording, looking at some cheap options, but guess the only way to go is to buy an electric kit or EzDrummer / DFH.

Kind of lame, and primitive. If you have something like reason or live, this is sort of a step back.
