I don’t understand this comment, i have covered RATM in sets before and even had the privilege of meeting the drummer. The drums to their songs are all about being laid back and behind the click by a demi-semi-quaver so i would imagine most people could play faster than the drum tracks. Think before you insult please.

For being day three you have some quite complex stuff in here and surprisingly really good time keeping, alot of drummers think its about being as complex and fast as you can. It isn’t i’ve a session drummer for a few years and people hire session drummers for what you’ve done here, played something simple well, in-time and consistently. Good work

You could change it to a china but you can’t raise a tom up as high as a cymbal if you plan to mount it to the stand.

so u could change the third tom to be a china and then rais it up higher so it isnt down so low

Right on, I looked at that kit, you may even be able to choke the cymbals on that one but I’m not sure.
Post a vid of your third day, let’s start a trend!

I started taking lessons about a month after this video when I hadn’t made much more progress. Lessons are definitely helpful when you can get them.

Yeah, you can change any of the pads to any sound you like.
Comment by DeathMetalAngel123 on January 17, 2010 at 2:47 pm
Can you change one of the symbols to sound like a splash symbol?

What kind of acoustic set do you have? Like, is it a real expensive one? I’m looking for a good drumset, either electric or acoustic, for around $500. Just wonderin if you know of any (electric or acoustic) drumsets around that price that are good.

Okay, thanks d00d! It helpped a lot, and I’ll try to find a music store where I can test it out. Thanks again!

There are 25 preset channels and 25 you can customize. No lag. It’s pretty easy to use if you don’t lose the manual. There are a lot of sounds including various types of drums, vibraslaps, chimes, etc. This was my first set so I learned on this size pad and I wouldn’t complain, but you should try to demo one a music store if possible. Hope this helps.

Does it have a decent amount of realistic sounds? Also, does it lag a lot?(or at all) Easy to use, are the pads big enough to where you won’t miss if your tryin to do a roll or something?

I like my acoustic set better, but it’s a decent starter kit and it doesn’t bother the neighbors. It’s also easy to record with.
